There is time to do something about it, if you have insulin resistance, before it becomes full blown diabetes. Namely diet change. Cut the carbs.

P.S. Mine went away after I changed my diet. Along with several dark moles. Had one on one testacle that would rub my underwear and become uncomfortable at times and become red and discolored. Gone within six months of changing my diet. That was about four years ago.
