Stopped at local meat market last week for lunch. Walked by meat case and asked if they had prime rib roast as that’s what I cook for family Christmas. Yes. How big? We cut to order. 38.50#. Said I’ll have to pass. His reply was won’t find it any cheaper. CAB prime. Told him I’ll be eating a little lower off the hog.
Does this look like $24/lb steak?
