Me too but I am beginning to think the rate hikes aren’t ment to tame inflation but to put economic pressure on BRIC nations . Not sure. High interest actually hurts the same people that inflation does so it’s a double monkey hammer on them.

Money contraction slows inflation but the king dollar draws offshore money here and I think it’d encourage inflation.



I have to disagree with who inflation and interest hurts. High inflation hurts the middle to lower classes with few hard assets. It’s why the middle class has been disappearing. High interest will pressure asset values thus hurting those with lots of assets. Government giveth gov taketh away.
