East Central Indiana | With propane fuel, I'd recommend a griddle. Propane doesn't add flavor, and a griddle can do many things a grill can't. I use the griddle several times a week. Not much you can do on a propane grill that you can't do on a griddle.
For a grill, I'd go pellet smoker or charcoal fired.
Can't sear on most pellet smokers. I've got a traeger from 2016. Will NOT be buying another traeger brand. Looking at Yoder possibly.
