Depending on travel days you might not want to travel 231 Dothan to Montgomery beach traffic plus holiday week makes it questionable. Also the World Games start in Birmingham next week so that area is gonna see lots of additional traffic and restrictions for some travel in and around area.
US 231 and US 280 are stop light heavy. Lots of gotcha red light cameras in and around Montgomery.
Time Atlanta early before 5am or after 7pm and you ought to be ok. Do not take in exits inside 285 unless you have good directions and gas before. Pay attention to surroundings. Be safe!!
