Aberdeen MS | I-270 to I-64 to US 61. That takes you along the west side of St Louis metro.
61 north turns into Avenue of the Saints. All divided 4 lane.
At Iowa City, you can take I-80 west, or continue on I-380 up to Waterloo IA. Then US 18 to I-35 north to I-90 at Albert Lea, MN.
I'm in the Tupelo MS area (between Birmingham AL and Memphis on I-22). That's the route I take going to the farm in southern MN. Fastest/easiest route I've come up with.
From Tupelo to Albert Lea, you can do that part of the trip in 13 hours without pushing too hard.
I've done 15.5 hours for what I drive. 2 hours past Albert Lea and a half hour drive before Tupelo.
From St Louis to Clear Lake Ia (I-35) all you will see is ag land. | |
