No manufacturer plumbs them back in the reservoir. Because it’s way to easy for water to get in that way and contaminate the oil.
You sure some of the RT series with the Auto 6 transmission weren't plumbed back into the housing? I seem to remember a RT180A having hoses going to the rear end.
