Southern Illinois | +1 on the blend.
I did a blend planted first week of October last year of Oats, Barley, Annual Ryegrass, Balansa Clover, Crimson Clover, Radish, and Turnip.
Kind of a do it all mix and I don't think there is any reason to not do a mix. At planting this was clover and annual ryegrass, the clover was bloomed out and should be giving my crop Nitrogen.
You could leave out the annual ryegrass if you're worried about terminating it. | |
