Southern Ohio | I’m a little late to respond but I want to thank you guys for the help, especially Mike10 for the wiring diagram. I’ve got it going and rolled a few bales last night and the electric tie itself is working great.
I do have some kinks to work out with starting the twine, which I’m quite sure is just the tension needing loosened as I’m using sisal twine and the previous owner was using plastic. Also having trouble with it cutting the string but I’ll get that figured out.
School of hard knock.... I feel like I’ve died and gone to Heaven with this 850 lol. It’s in such good shape compared to my other one which served me pretty well for a good while. Obviously there are nicer balers out there but these are what I’m used to. My new one is actually an earlier serial number than my old one and I’ve noticed a couple differences where they made some improvements.... maybe I’ll try to move them from the old one to the new one.
