Then you install jumpers criss-cross between the 4 other terminals.
Finally connect the two wires to the motor to one end or the other depending on how you want the switch to operate for direction. Or sometimes you can just flip the switch around in the mounting hole to get it working the motor the way you want it….other times you cannot because of how the hole is cut.
You probably want a spring return to center/OFF type switch. There’s switches that are maintained contact and do not spring return. | |
