I have had a Pre pass unit stuck to the windshield on my semi for the past 15-20 years and it allows me to go past the scales IF I get the GREEN light. Red light pull in and get weighed and possible get inspected. Also the trucker that has a good safety rating will see the green light more often, questionable safety rating will get the RED light more often I’ve been told. Cost about $16.00 a month if I remember right. Wife pays the bills.
