I agree with you , I see more fully exposed leaf collars than they are saying. It is dry as heck here , corn has been rolling during the day then recovering at night. We tried to stage some corn today , it was tough , looks like bottom 2-3-4 collars have burnt off , sloughed off , whatever you want to call it.
