| I run an irrigation engine repair shop and am in a position where I am about ready to hire a full-time employee. I currently have 2 part-time guys, a retired mechanic and a high schooler just learning the ropes. To be competitive in this area with other businesses, I will need to provide health insurance. I've gotten a couple of quotes online but I'm not sure I understand the details. For you who do have an employee and provide them insurance, how much do you budget annually to spend on health insurance coverage for them? What other incentives have you seen that you can offer an employee to make you competitive with other employers? | |
