Humans don't have a very good ability to come back down from where they're at. Meaning once they get a taste of a particular lifestyle they can't imagine going back to how they were living before prosperity took over. And thats a dangerous thing because the US has created a whole lot of entitled people that lose their minds if they have to slow their roll a little bit. Can't happen. I've always intentionally held myself back on frivelous spending just for that reason. I don't want to create something that we can't sustain around here if money starts to become a problem and honestly with $5 dollar gas and $6 dollar diesel it' already becoming a problem. Can't wait to fill the heating oil barrel this winter. That's the elephant in the room nobody is talking about. People are going to be spending $1000 a month to heat their houses with fuel oil. "Rich" people going up north with the camper and 4x4 every weekend are going to get a rude awakening around november.
