West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | "Trailers are not what they used to be"...You got that right.
My trailer was a 12x44 Plaza. I paid $2850.00 when I bought it used from a co-worker that dad had let put the trailer on a abandoned farm site. The timing was perfect because I had graduated HS the spring before. I borrowed the money myself with no co-sign. Paid the note (my first home mortgage) off in 6 months after getting my first sweet corn picking check. I carried liability insurance only...just in case a beer party got out of hand. Taxes were $28;00/year.
Cheap, anything goes, carefree living back then...my trailer got turned into a hay hauling trailer when my wife to be and I moved out of it.
