Iowa | I'm not familiar with your truck or clutch assembly, BUT if it only has one clutch disc, then you should be able to put the whole assembly up on the flywheel with the pressure plate bolts just barely snug enough to apply the smallest amount of pressure against that single clutch disc. Now, there is usually three areas around a clutch pressure plate where you can feel if the outer diameter of the disc is centered or not before you tighten/torque down the pressure plate mounting bolts. I know this is tougher than having the right tools, but if I was broke down in the "middle of a desert", this is the method I would use. This may or may not help your situation. | |
