We used some of those thirty gallon glyphosate barrels. Cut the top off dig down deep enough to get it under the post. screw some angle iron to the post then fill to top.. After we cut the old post of course. Probably slit the barrel if you wanted to then back fill with dirt. Make it easier to get under the post.
