Hi Larry,
I've got a 48x90 built in 79 that's in the same condition. Mine is cemented out, so more work. Can you get a post auger in there (12" or 16")? Drill down and then fill the hole with concrete and stick some angle iron in to fasten to the pole. Just a thought.
