Kansas | I hear ya, Not an issue on terminology.
I think this whipping your referring to is similar to the circle method which is nothing more than what it sounds like. Same analogy like you gave for the other except in a circular motion instead of back and forth.
Give that one a try sometime and see what you think. I find it makes for a smoother weld across and looks more uniform and you wont' sacrifice any bonding issue. | |
