Baldwin City, KS | I have learned alot from a good friend of mine lately who has been helping me with some repairs. He spent most of his younger years around his family's repair shop in Concordia, KS and really must have paid good attention to the old folks. He uses 3/32 6010 rod for DC and I think he said 6011 is the same rod, but for AC use. After repairing the crack, he bridges the weld with 7018 which has AC and DC versions as well. He uses a lower heat setting than what you would think as well. Just what I've learned. Hope it helps. | |
