Use ample amount of gun grease. Install the o-ring first and then roll the nylon back up washer right in. Be sure that the bevel cut is where it needs to be .Take an ice pick or o-ring tool and expand the back up washer so the bevel ends will not overlap.
The alternative is to use a quad ring without a back up washer, but I don't think they are as good as the original o-rings and back up washers.
