Best advise I can give is to have the right tools, the ones I have came from W-mart, made by Stanley, they look like an assortment of dental tools, cost about 5 or 6 bucks, they are really handy for enticing the o-ring and backup ring into a groove that it seem is only big enough for one of the two, a bit of vaseline might be helpful, sometimes they fall in but I wouldn't count on it,,,,good luck
