I can tell you from the perspective of someone who does it part time but has expectations of giving the same service a full time parts person does, dealer access websites vary greatly. Woods, LandPride, Hy Capacity and Bush Hog are among the better ones, A&I is fair, Hyundai, Kuhn and TISCO just plain suck. The CaseIH and Deere public access sites are quite good, as many of us already know.
New Holland's PAL parts system can match serial numbers of recent machines to a build sheet of sorts. This is a bright spot in what can be a difficult cataloging system whose format methodology is dependent more on the continent of machine origin than anything else. | |
