Franklin County, Frisco, IL | I have an IH 800 planter that has been modified to plant 15" beans....and it has performed this job well for the last 4 years. Now it is time to rebuild. I have been searching around the forum and I keep running across the reference of and IH 800 planter with 900 updates......what were the updates? I know that I would like to go to the offset closing disks so I can run a spiked closing wheel.
Planter only does beans....probably 90% no till...and this year I had trouble closing the seed trench..as the ground was a bit heavy/damp/ok I'll say it....wet.
