| whoever you go with make sure they use good materials. ask about bracing... the more the better and most are chincey on them. make sure cement in holes about 6"-8" below ground level. the guys who say dirt or rock around poles are full of crap. neighbors building just pulled out of ground and blew into his house last summer. 8' o.c. poles are the way to go cause 10' o.c. means nailers bow in wind (they usually put them 30" apart, same as 8', but they span more and thus bow more.) i suggest putting load bearing trusses on the end walls in case you wanna add on someday. also screw the steel on, nails pull out over time.
mostly you just dont want a cheap building that will wiggle in the wind and fall apart in 15 years.
as far as builders in your area... dunno, im from eastern ia.
