No help for the heating coil, do they make a 6 V coil possibly?
I have found that keeping those valves covered eliminates all the sticking problems. Water will leak past the threads on that top adjusting screw and allow water into the plunger inside the coil. When the plunger gets rusty , sticking results.
I had problems with mine every year until I fabricated a simple weather cover out of the base of a 1 qt oil jug.
The solenoid innerds stay dry and the valve has been stick free for 4 years.
