| Yep thats right. Dad bought our IH M in 1949. This was his first tractor. He was 19 at the time. Our family still owns this tractor today. This tractor was on a loader for about 25 years off its life. Stacked countless stacks off hay. Did all the loader chores around the farm. Moved snow through many bad winters. Mowed many,many acres off hay with it. An just a couple off years ago when we had our power outage for ten days. Kept our farm going after my diesel tractor gelled up. Only been overhauled a couple off times over the years. Tranny never touched. Cranked it over this morning started right up. If this tractor could talk what a story it would tell. My Dad passed away 2 years ago. But this tractor is still here. It will never be sold. This tractor was a much a part off this farms success as anything. Ok anybody have any stories like this.? I had some time today an was looking at the M. An boy the memories start flowing.
