We'll never grow beans again without rolling after planting, Not that we have that many rocks but if theres one in a field the flex will pick it up and the flex just nicer on the flat surface, Seems to help with dragging dirt on a wet harvest too..!
We only rolled slightly emerged beans once and the roller did no damage but the tyre tracks of the tractor were slightly visible all summer in the crop.???
