| There was a craze around here a few years ago about buying the 1.5 in sickles, so we got a used one that was set up that way and it did the same thing. We were pushing over the old corn stalks and the bean plants with them. We changed to a crary king kut sickle which was a 3in parabalic section which was wider and let the corn stalks in and cut them off rather than pushing them over. It works great for us in 15in bean rows no tilled into cornstalks.
