Skid plate covers, to get the maximum wear life from them, should be made of virgin UHMW poly material. I can assure you that the "spray on" stuff from Rhino Linings is NOT virgin UHMW. UHMW is almost the same material as is used for cutting boards. It is so dense that bacteria will not even penetrate it and is very good for abrasion and impact resistance.
