Had a Fruehauf trailer with Pro-Par axles, and we had to pack one wheel with grease, spindle had worn and would not hold a seal, so would leak oil. Other 3 wheels used oil. We would remove wheel and re-pack bearings every 50,000 miles,and also filled cap area with grease, adding a little STP. Worked fine until trailer was taken off the road. Just be sure to use bearing grease and not chassis grease.
