Anyone else think their old 750 puts beans in better than the newer drills?

Leesburg, Ohio
I don't know about the 90 series, but we have a pair of 1560's and a single 750. I have always thought the old 750 does a better job...more even spacing and quicker emergence. All these drills have been rebuilt two or three times, and only have less than 1000 acres per drill on them since the last rebuild a little over a year ago, so they are up to spec. I attributed the difference to the two-piece boot on the 60 series, but maybe there are other differences. We looked into changing the 60's over to the newer 90 series boot last time we rebuilt them, but it was going to cost an additional $2000 or so per drill to do it, and alot more work to do the change-over.
