WCIL | We ran the Promax 40 plates. I ended up setting the double eliminator to a more aggressive setting and that seemed to calm things down. As I've had time to look at our stands I'd have to say that I'm happy with the results of the promax 40 plate. Most of our fields were not planted in ideal conditions and had clods and not the smoothest ride which had an effect on the stands. Had one field that worked up real nice and was smooth and I ran 6.5-7.0 mph and the spacing was good. Also the planter at a glance screen is nice to be able to look at all the rows on a bar graph and see if any row is acting up. | |
