Subject: RE: Chevy trailer brake control?

you may have to turn up the brake control unit. I run mine at 4.0 to 5.0 depending on which trailer. Also the power wont charge your battery on the trailer unless you have hooked up the power wire. It is on the drivers side under the hood. Under the brake master cylinder there is a large wiring harness coming out of the big power fuse box. A red wire is rolled up and taped to the harness. It has to go to the empty stud on front of the big power fuse box. Has a 40 amp fuse already waiting for it. You have to find a metric nut though. There is another red wire between the fender and power fuse box, that is not the right one. The one under the brake booster is the bumper wireing. The one beside the fender is above the fuel tank I think.
