I have heard the story about the level rotor-and I really don't see how it can make a difference, but I could be wrong. In that case I will get to flip it over-again. Hopefully in a less eventful event if it comes to that.

We have brought up the rear on conventional combines before with larger tires. I never really could see a difference that I could prove. But it sure can't hurt grain loss.

Our reasoning for doing it was two fold-
First wanting to just get the machine to look like it isn't running up hill all the time. Strictly appearance.
Secondly, go bring the unloading auger and bin extension up in the rear. So the bin does not overflow to the rear before the front. And so the auger doesn't trickle if you have to swing the auger in with grain in it--like when the cart gets full.

I will let you know how important rotor levelness is in a month...
