Subject: RE: JD 2955 QUESTIONS & CONSIDERATIONS

I guess I will be the lone wolf here, I have a 3155. Purchased with 3200 hours Now has 7000 hours. Oil, filter, and fuel for the most part are all I have done. It is used for daily chores, cutting hay with a JD 1600a and raking with a V rake. It has been a great tractor, Mine gets very acceptable fuel economy. I was told JD used two different fuel injector pumps on these. One is good on fuel one is not. IF that is so I must have the good one. I have a 740 loader on it. I scoop lots of manure. It needed a clutch shortly after I got it. IT did not have a loader before I got it! And it is still fine! it is a MFWD.A wet clutch on a loader is desired ,but if you keep your foot off the clutch and use low gears, clutch trouble should be minimal!
