I'd be betting on the rain within the hr is what made you have a bad job.

I run anywhere from 5 to 10 gpa of water with the Rup or Glystar. Haven't used AMS in about 10 years. We always use either Choice from UAP or Bronc from Wilbur Ellis.
The only time we have trouble is if i spray to close to the pivot coming across or it rains too soon.

I have seen it wash off after being on the plants 8 hrs. This is under pivot and the reason I know it washed off is because you could see the pattern the pivot made. The longer it was on the plants the better kill.

I use TJ AI 11004 or 05's for 10 gpa and AI11002 for 5 gpa.
