Panhandle of Texas

jb:

Thank you for your posts on this topic.  Your description and your pics have been a great help to me, and a lot of other people.  Do you happen to know of another place that sells the 35w kits, in case the place you got em from runs out?  It looks like it is going to be an issue before long.

Someone ought to get the gumption to "make" these kits, themselves.  Heck, if I wasn't so busy, I might buy the lights from Deere, install the HID kits, and try and sell a "sensible man's HID light kit".

Just so I am clear on the issue, what bulbs will fit into the JD light assembly?  Is it just the 9005 & 9006, or are there others, too?

One last thing:

"Don't let them tell you that you don't have to order the weather boots separate for the back of the lamps. Still waiting on those."

What do the weather boots do?  Is this where you make your splices, or why do I need them?

Thanks again.
