Subject: Re: sprayer nozzle options?

I like the turbo TJets for drift control And I like the air injected TTI even better. I've run 8 gpa at 8 mph and 30 psi most recently, got a complete kill in my burn down and my mid summer spray. I used a couple pounds of AMS per acre also. I mixed the AMS with water a day or two before spraying and then added that to the sprayer tank before I mixed in the glyphosate with a dash of antifoam. With nozzles at 20" spacings and 8 mph the TeeJet book table says I used TTI110025 at 30 psi. Fixed pressure, I used a slower ground speed when the weeds were most obnoxious, like bind weed, cockle burr and thistle. This same nozzle would give 10 gpa at 6 mph. I've run 10 gpa with glyphosate and similar good results.

Boom averaged 20" high, but moved a lot as the three point sank and the plastic booms waved.
