Subject: Mice in machine shed

I have a shed that is only used for machine storage. It has concrete door sills with dirt floor. Extra kick boards added around the outside below grade 10" or so. Mice are a problem as they burrow under the kick boards and get inside. I set out D-Con all the time but still have some mice. I was thinking about using crushed limestone (CA-6) to replace the dirt. Can mice burrow through say, 8-10 inches of CA-6? Thanks for your help.
