| So what is the practicality of this on the corn on corn production acres around Macomb? Doesn't seem to practical if you are in a competitive cash rent area such as Macomb and are cranking out all the corn you can, year in, year out. Looks like fun for a few acres here and there, but probably won't be happening on the acres that are supplying a majority of the nations corn crop. There just isn't any growing season to do it in if you are going to be competitve. Take the cost of doing all that and buy extra fertilizer and I bet you see just as much of a yield jump if not more. | |
