i went with the salford rts, i have pulled summers before and seemed like a well built machine, but, i have rocks. on the summers, you have a gang whereas the salford you have indiviual blades which pivot a little bit which is easier on the unit when making turns. i also like the salford's harrow and rolling basket. in the fall on bean stubble or cornstalks you can pull a 30ft. model with 150hp no problem but come spring you better have 250 minimum if you have wet ground. the summers is a great machine also, it is i just like the salford for my type of ground. good luck
