Litchfield MN. | Rich & Plow79 you guys talk about getting a dog from the pound. When Rascal died (3rd post above) we were going to get a pound dog. Looked on the Humane Society web site and contacted some of them about some prospects. Was told more than once that they wanted there dogs to be a kennel dog or a house dog, didn't want them to be "FARM DOGS". Couldnt beleive it, maybe its different in other states but in MN. thats what we were told. Ended up geting Ellie from a giveaway add in the paper. Can't imagine a better life for a dog than romping around on a farm. Don't know what these people think we do with our dogs. Just curious if anyone else had this happen. | |
