I can't remember the situation but once in the 80's I planted a field in front of the applicator. Told him to split the middles. Zimmerman variety, very small flat. We were planting R-23's back then and needless to say the little 6 row kinze sowed it. Never checked pop but it was the first 200 bu. corn we raised. Worst thing about it was it was only 15 acres.
