We mudded crops off (900 acres)3 years ago and glad we did because it snowed before it froze and yeilds were big but it took another year (which was wet) to get fields back into shape ,Ruts showed for 2 years in crops even with lots of cross cultivating ,Seems to damage soil structure on our heavy black clay ? But sometimes you gotta?
When do you say the heck with it and just mud it out?
