I am real lucky here I guess. I am on natural gas and it costs me less than $1000 to heat a big OLD farm house. The cost of geo thermal would never pay back.
Gas is CHEAP compared to propane though.
I am paying about $.32/ m3.
Propane would have to be about $0.21/L to be the same cost. Right now I think it is about $0.70/l...over 3 times the cost...yikes.
