Local grocery store sells a steak plate in front of the store each Wednesday evening. This is for profit, not fundraising. They sell for about twelve dollars a plate (includes rice and macaroni salad, typical local fare) and the line is long and lasts for a few hours. The smell of cooking steaks is the best advertising they have.
