Hey Dylan. Go for it. I am 45 now. After I graduated high school the last thing I wanted was to go to college. I started raising hogs in barns that my dad no longer used and worked for my dad and uncle farm and milk cows. 6 years later I bought my uncles half of the dairy. We were milking 45 hd. My dad and I milked for another 10 years. I then bought my dads half of the dairy. Times weren't always easy but I really like what I was doing and I bought 100 acres during that time. All of this on my own. My dad was behind me but I did it on my own. Last year my uncle retired from grain farming and I rented his ground. I sold my cow herd . It has worked out well for me. The only thing I wished I would have done is took some classes on money management.

I guess what I am saying is it can and has been done. Get you numbers right and no them. Good luck.
