EC North Dakota | Here in ND it is state law that all township and county road ditches be mowed by the farmer. If not done the county or township will do it and charge it to the land owners taxes. I don't know how the county got this through but they did, the townships have been on this policy for as long as I know.
My biggest concern is who is liable if I or my hired help is injured by a rollover tractor mowing the county or township ditch? Haven't gotten an answer other than that state law says you have to mow the ditch. | |
