| The 9/11 hijackers did not bring anything illegal on the plane. And who really thought that they would fly the planes into buildings. The policy at that time was to appease hijackers, and thats what happened.
I would like to think that next time Achmed and his crew try something that they might be in for a rough day.
Are we any safer than we were pre 9/11? I don't know, maybe, maybe not.
If we are safer, I can gurantee that it is not because of the high school drop outs making sure that nobody gets through with a bottle of water or some nail clippers.
